A child can move from a Playschool morning to Preschool and later be collected from school in the afternoon without changing centres.
Every plan here starts from one question, in Claire Michael’s words:

The move
We moved to Alexandra Road. It is the same school.
At the end of July 2026 we moved from HarbourFront Centre to the Fragrance Empire Building, 456 Alexandra Road, beside ARC. Same programmes, same Head of Early Years, same way of working, in new rooms.

Fatehah Firdaus
Centre Head
Fatehah has worked in education for 12 years, seven of them in student care. She leads the team that runs the weekly programme, from Character on Mondays to Team Quest on Thursdays and Fridays.
Amira
Assistant Centre Head
Amira runs Student Care day to day alongside Fatehah. She supports the teachers, families and programmes.
Every teacher follows the same principles in their own way.
Any parent who has been through one preschool knows the risk. You choose a school and get a teacher. Then in March the teacher leaves.
So we train every teacher in the same practice. New teachers complete the Agora Training Plan before they run a room. When a child gets stuck, a different adult in the same room still does the same thing. The youngest Preschool class runs at one educator to five children.
How children learn at Agora
The test
We look for a child who keeps working after the adult has walked away.
- In Playschool, it starts small: your child goes a little further from you each week.
- In Preschool, it is a child who can sit with a hard problem and ask for help when they need it.
- In Student Care, it is a child who works out the order of the afternoon and gets on with it.
